Hey all

Life is continually flying by and someday I hope to catch up to it. How will I do it though?? Lord knows, but I'm hoping that the summer will be the perfect time to regroup and hang out with the kids. We have our first baseball game tonight and our first t-ball practice tonight also. LOL! Talk about being pulled from all directions!

We are also getting our fence put up so the dogs will be able to play w/o being tied up and then we'll also be able to get our pool up. It is just a 13'x40" pool, but just perfect to keep our air conditioning off more and the kids out more. Our summer reading program also starts the first Weds in June at the library and that is always fun. When its all done we always get to go to a Chiefs game and they have great fireworks. We love it!!

I will be adding pictures soon, but I just wanted to drop a line by to say Hello again!

My guy is 8...

Seems like just yesterday I was changing OBGYNs since my "ulcer" didn't seem to be healing and I still thought something else must have been going on. Then the new doc was telling me that it was a tumor or I was pregnant and that it had a heartbeat. I'd never heard of a tumor w/ a heart beat, but we'd figure it out. But they insisted it was a baby and 5 mths later, sure enough, along came Arlington. And since then we've had quite a life...here are some moments in his past 8 yrs.
Arlington minutes after being born.
Arlington just at 1.
Arlington almost 2.
Arlington almost 4.

Best shoes ever created

How do I not own these yet??

best link ever

I was looking for different images of Kermit the Frog and came across this website. And being that Christian Bale is right up there with most beautiful man ever created, and Kermit is the best muppet ever created...I thought it a very appropriate link. Enjoy.

Oh, you do need to click the "link" in the link I've provided. The 2nd link is too long for blogger to publish evidentally.

The New Dog

So we had joked over and over about getting a new dog and I searched and searched showing Darrell dog after dog. But we never really agreed on anything. So we just continued joking and never really doing anything. But then Darrell decided he did indeed need a dog of his own. Not some stupid little white lap dog that dresses in pink dresses and sits only on my lap. He wanted a huntin' dog. Even though Millie shows great promise, she's a girl. And girls are apparently just not as good as boys. So he started looking. My one request was that we get a big dog. I mean big. I wanted an irish wolfhound or newfoundland, but of course that wasn't up to Darrell's standard of hunting mutts. So he set his heart on a German Short Hair. And wouldn't you know it he found a few. And after much visiting and deciding this dog wouldn't work, that dog was too shy, etc...Darrell found his dog. Moses. He was at a foster family fromt he Henry County Humane Society. He is 3 yrs old. They say he's a german short hair mix, although we think he's more a lab mix. But he's beautiful either way. And so well behaved. He's been a fantastic addition to our family. We've welcomed him with open arms and hearts.
